By the way GM has never had a stock twin turbo vehicle. The only difference in the GNs was the turbo wheel inside the 1987 GNX was lighter and enabled it more hp

As great as The GrandNational is that 3.8 will not handle that horsepower. Stock hp is around 220hp. No american motor in the world could handle that power increase. Dont get me wrong the GN is my favorite car in the world and I shall be purchasing one soon but as a GM Certified Buick mechanic I can tell you that the 3.8 will never put out that much. Those turbos atmost will bring it up to 500hp. Thats still way short so how do you add 500hp after forced induction?

I want to see some facts to back this up. I have personally never seena V6 make this kinda of unreal tq/hp so can someone please show me how this car is a V6....I gotta know!

You think a stock 3.8 v6 couldn't handle 1000 horse power? Think again.....A v6 can do more than you think. Take a look at the nissan skyline....

um so yes it does have twin turbo but no it is not stock. The 87 GrandNational had alittle over 200hp with the GNX having 276hp. Obviously the 3.8 V6 couldnt handle 1000hp not even after machining. Buick turbos kinda suck though. Too big for what little power they put out. I work at a buick dealership and Ive only seen a few come in but the sound of that turbo spooling up is just awesome.

holy jesus. a buddy has a stock GN and it yanks you into the seats...i can only imagine this car. probably feels like the space shuttle launching lol

That's not a v8 you idiots. The 1987 buick GN came with a twin turbo'd v6. That's a really bad V6 in that car with a huge cam.....It aint no v8. Do some research before you speak.

Ofcourse you can hear the turbos kick in for 1. And 2, look at the computer screen when he lets off, it starts freaking out figuring out all those numbers
