During the so called "Dark Ages" Irish missionairies brought literacy, numeracy, Christianity, peace and civiliisation to the English. In return the English invaded Ireland in 1167 and spent centuries committing atrocity after atrocity to try and bring about the genocide of an entire race and their culutre.
