This is a statement on the "moratorium" system of education used in the Victoria ages. The idea was to pack in as many students into a class as possible, shut them up, de-personalise them, and shove them down the production line as fast as possible. Like a machine. But all teachers know this system sux. It just doesn't work. Students want or need to talk with their tutors or teachers to understand their stuff. Not just boring lectures and the internet. 5* Blessings +^+^+ The Saint

the message is: the traditional teaching methods that have been around for many decades are going to have to change as students social habits, technological awareness and expectancies change. It relates to the way young people now manage their lives, and the way teaching MUST change to get with the times.

Then explain it to me like a 5 year old. What message did you take from this that I clearly don't? |
