And I'm not saying (real) war isn't evil (pretend war is fun). I can't argue that it would be nice if we never got into fights with people (if a little boring) but that's not likely to happen, at least in our lifetimes. Therefore, war is, sometimes, a necessary evil.No one has the right to decide whether any other living person dies. It's disgusting that people allow it, or even condone it.

The German people would never have followed Hitler so readily if it weren't for the fact that the entire world screwed them over when they got defeated in WWI; they took away a bunch of German land and gave it to the French, they placed unreasonable restrictions, etc. THAT'S why the Nazis were as powerful as they were. They would've followed Hitler to the end, and many did, because he was saying EXACTLY what they wanted to hear. The Germans felt (were?) cheated and this guy promised deliverance.

I'm just saying war is an evil thing. Without, the world would be much better. Sure, i'd raise my hand in the defence of our country, but, war is an evil creature, which should be slain. Even as a last resort, it would be better to not have to turn to a last resort. And, WW2 wasnt a direct result of people treating the Germans bad, it was that they lost, and Hitler wanted 'The Master Race' to take over, even when his counry didnt.

Almost always true. Your too much of an idealist, though. Hitler was evil, and he invaded other countries for power. The Allies had no choice but to fight back or face possible eradication.Most other wars are pointless, though. War is never good as ANYTHING except for a last resort. World War II was, after all, a direct result of World War I and the crappy way everyone treated the Germans when that ended. ie: Violence only begets more violence.
