Yeah thats called break. In golf you have to read the break of a putt by looking at the contours on the green. It takes skill to be a good reader so that you can know which direction the ball is going to "curl".

Tiger is great no doubt but the putts never seem to lip out they curl in like the chip at the masters and that putt
